Our client is an international business consulting firm with a focus on private sector investment in developing countries. They help companies with the preparation of business plans, feasibility assessments and finance acquisition (grants, loans and equity finance). In addition, they work with private sector, governmental and non-governmental organisations on the design and implementation of public-private partnership programmes.
Many of their projects are implemented in the AgriFood sector. Important themes in this context are, amongst others, private investments, smallholder inclusion, climate smart agriculture, food and nutrition security and food systems. To strengthen and expand their capacity in the international agri-food sector they are looking for an AgriFood Business Consultant Developing Countries to join their team of business advisors at their office in region Wageningen, the Netherlands. You will be an addition to their existing team of 14 dedicated colleagues. Expected international travelling is around 8 to 10 times a week per year.
It concerns a fulltime position of 40 hours, but a work week up to 32 hours is possible.
