To strenghten this organisations'position in its home market, we are looking for a TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER BELGIUM for feedadditives.
- Set the annual sales budget together with Commercial Director Europe.
- Together with Commercial Director Europe, agree the area strategy in terms of product focus and target customers (customer portfolio).
- Plan the technical support needs to achieve the sales objectives.
- Be responsible for the key accounts in the area.
- Communicate fully to all members in the area of strategies (strategies and to held regular team meetings – 3 per year).
- Liaise with other Area Managers and learn of successes/failures, new ideas, new products, opportunities that may be transplanted in their area.
- Keep control of freight cost (open costs and seek to reduce whenever possible).
- Develop corporate company image, though good services, tending conferences, providing presentations, etc.
- Provide monthly report to the Commercial Director Agrifoods Europe.
- Collate market knowledge/intelligence.
- Prepare sound business plans for any proposed target.
- Ensure Area Smart Notes records are maintained.
Your key-responsibilities are:
- Achieving sales plan for all products as per budget, at agreed prices.
- Cost budget (opex + freight + rebates) etc.
- Agreed key accounts.
- Area profitability.
- Customer portfolio management.
- Sharing information with other Area Managers.
- Being the main contact person with Herentals and therefore relationship with services there.
