Regulatory Affairs Officer

The department Ingredients & Flavours in EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) is an important part of the ingredients and flavours division within this company. We serve customers operating across a region of wide ranging geographic, economic and cultural diversity developing, manufacturing and delivering technology-based ingredients, flavours and integrated solutions for the food and beverage industry. We employ over 20,000 people worldwide. In order to strengthen the Functional Ingredient (Enzymes, Emulsifiers, Fermented Ingredients, Gums, Proteins and Yeast) Regulatory Affairs team based in Almere, we are searching for a highly motivated:

Fulltime, 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating registrations by compiling registration dossiers and obtaining regulatory approval for our products.
• Acting as a central point of contact to advise and support both internal and external customers with their regulatory queries.
• Representing the organsation in regulatory meetings with international trade associations
• Proactively track developments in food legislation, translate these developments to business needs and implement the changes.
• Involvement within multifunctional, international projects teams and close cooperation with R&D, marketing, quality and supply chain in our business units and plants.

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science & Technology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Plant science or Chemistry. Specialisation in toxicology is an advantage!
• Equally important is that you are proactive, take initiative, have a very strong drive and excellent communication & social skills.
• 2-4 years relevant working experience in the food industry.
• Verbal and written English should be fluent, Dutch would be preferable.
• The position is for four days a week.
