Genetic grow-out trial technician

This company encompass all aspects of crop production, from planting through harvest, conditioning, treating, packaging and distribution for multiple crops.

Full Time.

To ensure the quality of the crops there are set up trails to test several aspects of the crops conditions troughout the growing process.The candidate will be responsible for the management of the Grow out trials of various crops. This means keeping close contact with the Subcontractor, Plant raisers and Growers. You Instruct them of all what is necessary to grow a good quality trial. You also assist the EMEA Genetic Growout Manager with reading of local trials.

Responsible for:
- Planting, growing and reading of routine growth chamber trials;
- Execution of miscellaneous trials;
- Assisting the WW Trial Assembly Coordinator with sample handling, data posting etc.


Reasonable communication skills in English will be required. Candidate must have basic computer skills and a strong attention to detail. A successful candidate will be highly self motivated and have the ability to work with a certain level of independency.

• Ability to read routine Growth Chamber trials with little to no supervision.
• Results orientated.
• Self motivated and able to work with limited direct supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Access
• Experience working with SAP and/or database applications is preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with colleagues in a multicultural environment.
• Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, and speak effectively.
• Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and tasks
• Ability to independently and proactively identify problems and lead troubleshooting activities
• Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) technical subjects related to grow-out methods and results
• Ability to draft documents, protocols, work instructions, etc.
• Ability to design scientific experiments
